Cannabis and Human Entourage Effect

The cannabis plant is thought to have over 1000 molecules, hundreds of them with known biological activities. The genetic code of cannabis is limited to producing a maximum of 35-40% of phytocannabinoids. Aromatic terpenes, which give cannabis its distinct and specific smells, can constitute several percentages of the total plant flower mass. Deconstructing cannabis into its functional elements, understanding those components and their interactions with the human body, and reconstructing them into most effective and safe products are the ultimate challenges for XXIst century cannabis industries

In his lecture at Cannafest 2018 Jokubas Ziburkus explains in detail the “entourage effect”, based on synergy between cannabinoids and terpenes.
