Paul Maclean is a legal professional and has been active in the cannabis industry since 2018. His work focuses on regulatory affairs, consumer protection, and building a sustainable, transparent, and well-regulated cannabis industry.

Since 2023, he has served as President of the UPCBD (Union des Professionnels du Cannabis Bien-être et Détente). In 2025, he joined the board of the Cannabis Trades Association (CTA). He is also the founder and President of EURECA, a European initiative dedicated to cannabis advocacy, education, and regulatory reform.

Through these roles, Paul works to strengthen international cooperation, represent industry professionals, and promote evidence-based, proportionate cannabis regulation.
